John and Mary have worked many years in
both the fishing and catering industries, giving them plenty of
contacts and experience that allows them to source and prepare some of
the best produce the region has to offer.
When we took over Eilean Donan we set out
to use this experience and also to cook, prepare, present and serve in
a manner we would expect.
We have gained a good reputation not
only with our guests but with locals alike, and hope this reflects on
our quality and standards.
We offer full Scottish, continental and
vegetarian breakfasts in the restaurant in the mornings.
In the evenings, we offer meals to
residents. When you book a table it is yours for the
evening as we don't believe you should be rushed when enjoying good
food. We are licensed and offer a range of beers, spirits and wines
along with non-alcoholic beverages and teas and coffees.
We can also offer early breakfasts for
residents needing to travel and packed lunches for those on
excursions. Please give us notice for both options. |
We try to maintain an informal and
friendly atmosphere and guests are encouraged to use the lounge
alongside the restaurant. It has comfortable seats and an open log
fire so as to relax after your meal and maybe enjoy a nice drink.
